Family Photo Shoot

Photographers are so talented.

They make our families look so well groomed and happy:

...when really, Noah hadn't napped once that day, Brad had recently gotten home from work and Jack was NOT interested in family photo time...

I bought fruit snacks and M&M's to bribe Jack - it worked.

like one time

yet Torie was able to capture moments like these:

aaaaaaaand, she gets EXTRA props because this was her FIRST family photo shoot! Please visit her website and give her some love!

I mean, what a gift... to have images of my beautiful family, looking adorable and happy... yet at the same time, I saw the behind the scenes :)

...my too smart two year old shooting down my bribes, my littlest deciding that he did NOT want to be held, he'd rather scream and cry...

I love both sides of that coin - I love that photographers and editing programs exist

I love discovering the personalities of my 2 little boys.

As you can see above - they both have EYES that MELT my heart and those cheeks, chubby chubby cheeks... and the dimpled chins (LOVE THOSE!)... I'm so happy to be their mama. To top it off, did you see that handsome hubby of mine!?

#Iamtheluckiestgirlalive

you know what's funny about that hash tag? I have NO IDEA how twitter works, not a clue

even still, I am the luckiest girl alive

and today I need that reminder...my boys are both sick - so my job today: care for 2 sick babies. yuck. green boogers, whining, lack of sleep and no appetite... not my FAVORITE type of day...

but it's just one day, and praise the Lord that I can stay home to be the one to care for them

(although considering how much apple cider vinegar they both ingested today, they may have wished it was someone else caring for them! that stuff STINKS!)

Thanksgiving (the Holiday) has come and gone, but we must remember to be thankful DAILY... to count our many blessings and to be fully present in each moment we have with our precious families and loved ones...

I'll end on this note:

**please note that in this photo, Noah was SCREAMING and crying, tears streaming down his face! haha...

***also, one day I will learn how to make my pictures side by side.. I'm truly illiterate in this techie world...
